Inclusion and social mobility remain challenging in the UK, running along several axes including ethnic background, gender, geography and income.

Barriers to inclusion have a dramatic impact on society, hindering social mobility and undermining the public’s trust in government and institutions. Studying the complex factors at play helps us to paint a clearer picture of the challenges marginalised and disenfranchised groups face, and how to address problems surrounding inclusion and social mobility.
